![]() When we needed to get off the bus, we pressed for our stop. We would have been better of using a regular bus or the tube. ![]() Further to this, we were never able to sit upstairs to view the sights of NYC. Both drivers we encountered had a real attitude and the tone they spoke to customers in was completely unnecessary. We walked to the next stop in the hope there would be less people and when the bus finally arrived, we were met by a unfriendly driver for a second time that day. There were so many people waiting which meant that when the bus finally arrived, there was no space to get on. After visiting the 9/11 memorial, we were left waiting 45 minutes for the bus to arrive. The amount charged for the tickets is completely unjustifiable considering the unreliability of the buses and attitude of staff. However, there were multiple factors that caused great disappointment and we will never be using Big Bus Tours again. Just a though Edited: 4:24 pm, June 24, 2023 Seems like you would qualify for some kind of exemption or handicapped accessible seating or preferential entry/exit. ![]() Good luck to you and your family! I hope you find something that works for you! I hope an expert will correct me if anything I’ve said is not correct. I don’t like any of these options! I wish there was a way to see some fireworks without investing hours of touring time or thousands of dollars, even if it’s just a mediocre view. I tried to find a ferry to ride (East River or Staten Island ferry?) but from what I have read, they don’t run during the fireworks shows Pay for a fireworks cruise (hours long and $$$$$$$!) or the Summit One observatory (must be 21 and tickets are $$$$$)Ĥ. You’ll get a chair but not sure how easy it will be to enter/exit these events…seems they will be jam packed (?)ģ. Pay $100’s per person to attend an official event like the Front Row event. Go to the official viewing areas as early as possible and stand there to hold your spot (no chair or blanket allowed). ![]() I’m not a New York City expert, but am traveling there and have also been looking for an “easy” way to see the fireworks. ![]()
